Unlike most storytelling programs which focus on targeted content and entertainment value, Restorative Storytelling starts with authentic connection and presence so that people trust you, and are willing to listen to you.Â
This isn't about being a "good" storyteller, this is about being an EFFECTIVE storyteller.Â

The 24 tools of Restorative Storytelling begin with Presence
Here is the first lesson on Presence, the foundation of all communication. Before you speak, before you gesture or even command attention, your presence has already begun to communicate the truth.
Level One
We focus on the voice and body of the storyteller, thus bringing all streams of communication into coherence.
Level Two
We explore the twelve storytelling strategies and find a custom approach that leverages strengths and looks for improvement.
Level Three
We learn how to read the room and deliver the most important story to this unique listener or audience for this particular moment and location.
Meet the Trainers
David is joined by Lidia, Joia, and Becky who have all been certified in Restorative Storytelling and teach not only for How to Story, but in their own schools and communities.
