The Most Important Secret in “Disclosure Day”
Jun 16, 2026This post has spoilers, but not the kind you might expect.
Though Disclosure Day is a summer blockbuster with big names and cool effects, it does propose a revolutionary (and true) message: we are currently working with intelligent life from other parts of the universe.

There are several signs in the movie that tell me Stephan Spielberg had an encounter with extra terrestrials when he was young: the cardinals, the deer’s stare, age 10, not remembering sections of one’s childhood, and the clicking sound of the alien language. These curious details line up with the accounts of others, as well as my own. I have a clear memory of being “studied” when I was 10 years old, which involved the clicking sounds all around me. Cardinals have signaled big events in my life (years ago I had two cardinals tattooed on my right arm), and I’ve been led by deer and other animals toward revelation on several occasions.

I felt like a different person after age 10 and interpreted it as simply being “different,” and not a part of the normal human experience. I did not equate this deep belief as being associated with a contact experience, I just felt like something was “wrong.”
I had my first channeling experience almost 30 years ago, and used channeling in my work as an elementary school teacher and then professional writer and storyteller.
All the stories in my library of work were created in dialogue with nonphysical multidimensional beings that for years I considered “elves and fairies”. And then 5 years ago I began a robust dialogue with a community of nonphysical multidimensional beings that apparently hailed from the Aldebaran star system. I call them the “Aldebaran,” though they insist that this is inaccurate. You can read more about that here.
Back to when I was 10. I was in my bed and though it was the middle of the night, the room was filled with light. I was frightened so I closed my eyes and covered my head with the sheet. I was surrounded by tall thin people wearing hoods who were making a clicking sound. I thought they were tapping their fingers on blocks of wood in order to make that sound. They were studying me, and I knew that there were people familiar to me in the room, though in retrospect, I don’t think I had met them yet. I wasn’t in danger, but the experience was frightening.
That’s it for ages 10 and 11. I don’t have any clear memories of grades 4 and 5, and we moved to a new town for grade 6 and then seemed to disrupt whatever was going on so that I could reset and continue my childhood. Grade 6 is when I realized I could do stuff that other kid’s couldn’t do. I knew things that other kids didn’t know, and though I was regarded as being “different,” I liked it. We moved again for my senior year of high school and that was when I began having remarkable interactions with animals that would lead me, fairy tale style, to new experiences and understandings.
The birds, especially cardinals, really locked in when I was 30, and they have since become the most prolific guides in my day to day life.
Five years ago, while visiting Big Bend National Park, I saw two shooting stars crisscross over a yellowish star, like an X marks the spot. The star was Aldebaran, a part of the Taurus constellation. Over the next year, I learned about them, where they come from, how they communicate and the message they would like to deliver.

The message is not that far from what we heard in Disclosure Day, but unlike the ending where Emily Blunt says, “Listen…” I have been given very clear instructions and next steps, and I’d like to offer them to you, not in hopes that you follow my guidance, but to see if my next steps line up with yours.
Here is what I know:
- The language of the universe is patterns of vibration. To some of us, it will appear as mathematics. To others, music. To me it is in storytelling.
- Aliens are not “coming”. They’ve always been here. We are simply ready (in small groups) to consciously communicate with them.
- Time can be experienced as sequential, but it can also be experienced orchestrally, and geometrically. For me, I experience it thematically.
- Many of us encounter these nonphysical multidimensional beings when we are between 9 and 11 years old because we haven’t yet separated “reality” with our imagination. We are still able to use our imagination as a perception tool, while also old enough to experience contact without parental support.
- The trend in our “species” is to reconnect with each other. This will become the greatest ambition: to connect with everyone and everything. Seeking treasure and power will fall to the level of play and fancy, while empathy and compassion will become the most satisfying adventure possible.
- We will learn to care for each other as our true calling.
There is a lot more to say and I hope many of you will speak up and add to the list. Watch the movie and in my opinion, pay attention to the Emily Blunt character over the Josh character because she is closer to what I know to be true. Yes, there is a lot of spectacle and drama (its a movie!) but under it all is something very true:
We are not alone.
